Student Support Services
Food Service Guidelines
The Museum School of East Dallas participates in student meal programming to support student wellness and access to nutritious meals throughout the school day. Additional information regarding meal service, food allergies, dietary accommodations, wellness practices, and meal procedures will be shared directly with families annually and updated as needed. Families needing meal modifications or accommodations due to medical needs should contact the school office.

Child Find Notice
TMS actively seeks to identify students who may qualify for special education services. Parents who suspect their child may have a disability or require additional support may request an evaluation at any time.
Referral & Evaluation Process
Parents, teachers, or staff may initiate a referral for evaluation. Once written consent is obtained, evaluations will be conducted within timelines established by law.
Parent Rights & Procedural Safeguards
Parents are provided procedural safeguards and participation rights throughout the special education process.

Disability Resources & Section 504 Information

Bullying & Safety Reporting
Students and families may report bullying, harassment, safety concerns, or threats directly to school administration. Retaliation against individuals reporting concerns in good faith is strictly prohibited. Transportation Information
The Museum School of East Dallas does not currently provide daily transportation services.
Families are responsible for student transportation to and from school unless otherwise communicated by the school. If transportation options become available in the future, updated information will be posted here.
Career & Technical Education (CTE) Information
The Museum School of East Dallas currently serves students in grades K–8 and does not currently offer formal Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Students engage in career-connected learning experiences through:

Emergent Bilingual (EB) Program Information
The Museum School of East Dallas provides language support services for students identified as Emergent Bilingual learners.

Identification Process
Families complete a Home Language Survey during enrollment. Eligible students may receive additional language proficiency assessments.
LPAC Process
The Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) reviews student progress and language support services annually.
Parent Rights
Families are notified regarding placement, services, progress, and program decisions.
